about the Author
Despite strong academic foundations , life dictated that I’d spend my university years suitcase-sofa-surfing and gritting my teeth between service hours and moving days . A motto that I had during this time was
if you’re uprooted enough times, you learn to grow legs .
After “strong encouragement” to leave home at sixteen , I’ve worked full-time to keep myself afloat, and along the journey , I never stopped taking notes.

" The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion " - Camus
I found home at last in Devon’s South Hams , and after a year spent meditating , I found the omnipresent peace needed to pursue those quiet dreams the chaos of life tends to cull .
I began to honour the pen , and , in turn , myself .
Years on from this journey , alongside full time waitressing jobs and several relocations , I have published five books and counting , both of which are sold locally as well as commercially by bookstores including Waterstones and Foyles .
At 24 , I now find myself a rooted young woman , actively working on the life of her dreams.
